ACCESSIBLE ROOMS
Jamala Wildlife Lodge has wheelchair-accessible rooms available however many rooms do have stairs. If you have specific requirements please email [email protected] or call 02 6287 8444 before booking to discuss the best options for your needs.
PARKING
There are disabled car parking spaces available for use as apart of the dedicated Jamala Wildlife Lodge parking. There are additional disabled spots available in the National Zoo carpark.
Parking is free for Jamala visitors. Cars parked there for other purposes are towed away and substantial fees incurred by the driver.
HIRING A MOBILITY SCOOTER
Jamala Wildlife Lodge has several mobility scooters available for hire. Advanced bookings are encouraged as we do have limited units available on any given day. To make a booking please call 02 6287 8444 or email [email protected].
ASSISTANCE DOGS
Due to the fact that all Jamala rooms are located within the boundaries of the zoo and in close proximity to animal enclosures and free-range animals, it is currently not possible to house Assistance Dogs overnight. Should you require further information, please send an email to [email protected]

Wheelchair accessible toilets are located throughout the zoo.
