Our two Lemur Rooms showcase a large viewing window that looks directly into an enclosure that is home to the species that is regarded as one of the most unique on earth, allowing you to watch these fascinating animals play from the comfort of your own room!
Both rooms also boast views through mature pine trees towards to the Molonglo River. One looks towards Scrivener Dam and Black Mountain and the other overlooks the lion enclosures.
The Lemur Rooms are wheelchair accessible.

Ring-Tailed Lemur
The ring-tailed lemur is a medium- to larger-sized strepsirrhine primate, and the most internationally-recognized lemur species, owing to its long, black-and-white, ringed tail. It belongs to Lemuridae, one of five lemur families, and is the only member of the Lemur genus.
