The Lion Pride Bungalow is a luxurious private suite adjoining the habitat of our gorgeous Lion Pride. 

A glass wall is all that separates you from a magnificent pride of lions. Whether you are relaxing in your lounge area, resting in bed or enjoying a soak in the bath, when the lions are in the bungalow den area you will find yourself only a heartbeat away from these incredible animals. With large viewing windows looking directly into their habitat, the lions can move freely between their enclosure and the den area during your stay.

Access to the Lion Pride Bungalow requires guests to walk up several steps and through our zoo.

The Lion Pride Bungalow is located within the zoo itself and its position adjoining the lions’ enclosure means that there must be at least one person aged 21 years or older staying in the bungalow. For all other guests, the minimum age is 14 and children must be at least 1.5m tall.

All National Zoo & Aquarium conservation, breeding and educational programs are supported by funds raised by Jamala Wildlife Lodge.

Although animals usually appear as depicted in photos, no guarantees can be given. Rooms overlooking certain animals are particularly popular and may have limited availability, while others may offer greater flexibility depending on demand at the time of booking.
